True Romance (1993) dir. Tony Scott

A lonely comic book store clerk meets the woman of his dreams, steals drugs from a gangster, and runs away with her to California in hopes of selling it and living the life they’ve always wanted.
An oddly romantic and at times brutal film from the genius minds of Quentin Tarantino and Tony Scott. The former wrote the script before starting work on his debut feature Reservoir Dogs. Tony Scott’s fantastic direction gives a noted vitality and energy to the story and characters.
Great lead roles from Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette, coupled with a particularly chilling scene between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken.
