The Whole Nine Yards (2000) dir. Jonathan Lynn

Oz, a dentist trapped in a miserable, loveless marriage finds out that his new neighbor is an infamous contract killer. A hilarious black comedy with an excellent cast of quirky characters. Well paced and timed, the movie delivers exactly what it promises – a stress-relieving escape and quality screwball comedy.
The secret with the films is the honest acting by a well cast team, as well as it’s subtle humor. Matthew Perry fits perfectly in his lead role. A remarkable performance from Amanda Peet and an unscrupulous Bruce Willis bring this wonderful script to life.
A constantly twisting storyline tickles the viewer’s expectation with great finesse. As it builds momentum, more and more “inside jokes” separate the film from the mundane molds of the comedy genre.
