Expertly directed by Sidney Lumet. A very realistic and true to life portrayal of a story spanning the late 1960’s to very early 1970’s.
Masterclass performance from Al Pacino as the leading role.
Adapted for the screen by Waldo Salt and Norman Wexler from Peter Maas’ biography of the real-life of policeman.
Received two Oscar nominations.
