Heat (1995) dir. Michael Mann

A group of bank robbers accidentally leave a clue at their latest heist, which puts pressure on them as they prepare for one big “lifetime” hit. A kinetic and intelligent action thriller with a unique touch that delves into the persona of the main characters. A film that strays away from the “action” cliche to bring us into a fast-paced game of cat and mouse.
Excellent direction throughout. Based on the true story of Neil McCauley, an ex-Alcatraz inmate.
“Heat” is the first to have a scene shared by two of the greatest actors of this generation – Al Pacino and Robert De Niro – the infamous “coffee shop” scene.
