Festival de Cannes 2015 – OFFICIAL SELECTION

The upcoming 2015 Cannes Film Festival is to be held from 13 to 24 May 2015. The festival is widely considered one of the greatest showcases of cinema in the world, one of the most prestigious stages for any filmmaker! With all the hype surrounding this year’s 68th Annual Festival, here’s the Official Selection of films to be projected on the Riviera!

The selection includes many interesting titles from talented filmmakers all over the world. This includes the likes of Paolo Sorrentino, Todd Haynes, Joachim Trier, Gus Van Sant and Hou Hsiao-Hsien in the Main Competition, and  Woody Allen, Kiyoshi Kurosawa, Natalie Portman (with her directorial debut!) and Gaspar Noe among many others! Hungarian director László Nemes’ Son of Saul is the only first film selected for the Main Competition!

The Coen Brothers (Joel and Ethan) have been announced as Presidents of the Jury in the main competition, and the opening and closing ceremonies host is chosen to be French actor Lambert Wilson. The Un Certain Regard jury president is Italian actress Isabella Rossellini.
