Big Nothing (2006) dir. Jean-Baptiste Andrea

A financially-troubled family man is contacted by a small-time scam artist and the two decide to pull off a seemingly foolproof blackmail scam. A black comedy mixed in with the thriller genre, full of story twists and absurd situations. Excellent dark humor and hilarious characters. Great performances from David Schwimmer and the quirky Simon Pegg.
Nice direction and a gloomy, dark atmosphere, underlined with superb cinematography and an excellent, fitting soundtrack.
Shot on the Isle of Man, Wales and Canada, yet the story takes place in an Oregon small town. Directed by Frenchman Jean-Baptiste Andrea.
A very underrated and entertaining dark comedy!
