2015 Tribeca Film Festival WINNERS

During the special awards ceremony in New York City, the  honorees of this 2015’s issue of the Tribeca Film Festival were announced!
The festival awarded the winners with cash prizes of various sizes, totaling $175,000. Founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff, the Tribeca Film Festival in Manhattan, New York has quickly become one of the major festivals for independent cinema.

The Icelandic-Danish production “Virgin Mountain,” (written and directed by Dagur Kári) won the award for Best Narrative Feature.
The Danish documentary “Democrats,” (dir.Camilla Nielsson) won the top prize in the World Documentary Competition.
